Titleist 2024 Irons

For the first club/clubs review of 2024, we will be taking a deep dive into the well-known brand of Titleist and the irons that are a part of the catalog for this year. It is no surprise that with the storied history of a brand like Titleist, players all over the world trust that the company’s equipment is made of quality. But what really makes the Titleist irons the most played irons by the world’s best golfers? In this blog we will take a look at each model and provide specifications as well as feedback of what irons fit what players.

T-100 Series

Starting with the T-100 series, these irons are certainly for the experienced players, who are around looking for an enhanced feel at impact as well as more control. These are not the irons for high handicappers and should only be considered by players that are typically shooting less than 80 on average. This blog is for the realists, the recommendations given are true testaments to player’s games and the clubs that best fit them. The T-100 series are made up of a fully forged, dual-cavity construction that leads to more consistent contact, but with a much smaller “players” face. These irons are not full “blades”, but the size of the face offers very little forgiveness when poor contact is made. This is the most commonly played iron by tour players, which again fortifies the importance that these clubs are not for the average player and can cause a lot of frustration if swings are inconsistent.

T-150 Series

A new release from Titleist this year, the T-150 irons offer players very similar characterizes as the T-100 series, but with a more confident shape resulting in more speed. With the same performance and feel as the T-100’s, the T-150’s are introduced as the “New Players Irons”. Again, this hints that these are not for high handicap players and will have similar affects if one’s swing is inconsistent. However, when Titleist adds that the irons have a “more confident shape”, this is implying that the actual face of the irons is slightly larger than that of the T-100s, offering slightly more forgiveness to players.

T-200 Series

Now getting into the irons that more accurately suite the weekend golfer, we start with the T-200 irons. The T-200 irons are going to offer the player’s iron design, but with a high launch and forgiveness. The key word here is forgiveness and is vitally important for players who are unable to play/practice as much as competitive golfers do. These irons are recommended for the mid-handicap players, however, are still advanced enough for low handicap golfers looking for the higher launch and increased feel. From the research done, the T-200’s is the perfect balance between “T-players” irons and the weekend golfer’s irons.

T-350 Series

The T-350 series irons are centered around improvement. If a player’s swing is often inconsistent and he or she is missing the center of the face often, the T-350’s technology and design can help compensate. The irons are meant for maximum height, distance, and forgiveness which makes these irons perfect for mid to high handicap golfers who are trying to improve their game with a quality iron. The new forged face and hollowed body construction is ideal for a swing that may result in a few mishits, without compromising overall performance.

T-400 Series

Finishing off the T-Series, we have the T-400s. These irons are meant to assist in the length one can hit their irons and offer the most forgiveness out of all of the T-Series irons. Slower swing speeds and inconsistent ball-striking will be mitigated with the technology and science behind the high-launch and greater distance T-400 irons. These are absolutely recommended for seniors or high handicappers who are looking for an iron that will help assist them in becoming better players.

  • All T-Series irons highlight effortless turf interaction between the bottom of the clubface and the ground behind the vokey design.
  • All T-Series irons are made up of an improved D18 tungsten metal and a 2000-degree aerospace blazing process.
  • The technology behind each iron is detailed towards what each player is trying to achieve, whether that is speed, feel, or forgiveness.

620 MB Series

Although the 620 MB Series is not a quote on quote “new” iron introduced this year, it is still important to note the specifications and the attributes of classic muscle players irons. Reduced offset and progressive blade length make the 620 MB series the ultimate classic player’s iron. Used by players like Max Homa, Webb Simpson, and Justin Thomas, there is plenty of history and tournaments won using this model. Again, the 620 MB series includes the tour-refined sole for improved turf interaction upon impact.

620 CB Series

Last, but certainly not least, we have the 620 CB Series, also known as the classic cavity Titleist iron. The 620 CB has been refined over the years but is still the cavity-back model that millions have trusted. With the added cavity-back, this iron produces a reduced offset and progressive blade length, but with added forgiveness. Again, these irons are perfect for players looking for improvement in height, control, and play throughout the swing.
